In the vein of his heroes Axlerod, Martin, Godrich, and Brown, Wonderful Radio is Thes One’s ambitious live producer project. Along with musical director Kat Ouano, Wonderful Radio contains a cast of Los Angeles’ finest musicians working under the studio direction of Thes One. Both technical and heartfelt, Wonderful Radio began as a vehicle for cover versions that quickly evolved into a genre defying mix of original compositions and inspired takes on both lost and popular recordings.  Spanning 3 years and 5 legendary studios including the famed Fantasy “A” Room in Berkeley, a host of rare vintage instruments and a full string ensemble, Wonderful Radio is nearing completion and is slated for release in Winter of 2011.
